With such an increase in illegal immigrants in NYC, housing is a struggle for Mayor Eric Adams and his administration. According to a recent town hall meeting, public parks may be used as tent cities for the migrants with an estimated 100,000 incoming migrants by 2025. “It’s not ‘if’ people will be sleeping on the streets, it’s when,” stated Mayor Adams (D) in the meeting. With Biden’s failed border policies, NYC is seeing an increase of up to 10,000 immigrants each month. Adams’ administration said that they will use whatever resources they have to house the people and that no option is off the table.
