Biden Classified Documents Timeline Contradicts White House Narrative: Comer Seeking Answers

In a letter to special counsel Robert Hur, House Oversight Committee chair James Comer (R-KY) suggested on Monday that President Joe Biden may have kept sensitive documents about the Biden’s family business dealings with foreign countries.  Special counsel Hur was appointed by AG Merrick Garland to investigate Biden’s mishandling of classified documents relating to Biden’s term at vice president.  Reportedly, Hur conducted a two-hour interview with the president last week in which Comer suspects Hur obtained information linking the classified documents retained by Biden to his family’s foreign business dealings.  Comer wrote, “President Biden’s retention of certain classified documents begs the question as to why he kept these particular materials.”  Comer discovered an inconsistency in the timeline as it relates to the narrative regarding the mishandling of the documents, revealing that Annie Tomasini, Joe Biden’s senior aide, handled the classified documents at the Penn Biden Center in D.C. twenty months before Biden’s lawyers brought the discovery publicly.
