Stranded Air Passengers in Israel Join Hands And Pray for the Nation

Objectivity 4.8 | Credibility 4.8 | Relevance 4.8

With the cancelation of many flights in and out of Tel Aviv airport because of the ongoing war with Hamas and the threat of a second front opening in Israel’s north with Hezbollah, many people trying to leave Israel have been stranded at Ben-Gurion International Airport. A video surfaced on social media showing many of those waiting for flights banding together to pray for Israel, holding hands and praying in different languages.  Many tourists were in Israel, including thousands of Christians who came to join the 68th annual Jerusalem March in support of Israel when Hamas launched an attack on Saturday. Some rockets fired by Hamas from Gaza have reached Tel Aviv with one striking an open area near the airport.  U.S. carriers United, Delta and American, as well as several European carriers such as Lufthansa and Air France, have all cancelled flights to Israel.
