Ukraine has hit the Russian Black Sea Fleet Headquarters in Sevastopol in Crimea, which Russia annexed in 2014.  The missile strike has caused an unknown amount of damage and casualties, but black smoke has been seen rising from Sevastopol harbor.  The attack came the same day that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he has reached a deal with U.S. President Joe Biden which will allow Ukraine to start producing weapons in Ukraine in cooperation with U.S. defense contractors.  The joint venture will focus on producing air defense systems to counter Russian air strikes and missile attacks.  Ukraine already has joint agreements with European arms companies to repair tanks and other vehicles, as well as develop drone and missile production. Also on Friday, the first big ship to carry grain from Ukraine to Africa since July departed from the Black Sea port of Chornomorsk.  The ship will use a temporary humanitarian corridor to bypass the de facto Russian blockade.
