There are now 2,901 confirmed dead after the 6.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Morocco in the High Atlas mountain range near Marrakech on Friday. With thousands dead and many more injured, many countries are offering relief. The quake was the strongest to hit Morocco in more than a century. President Joe Biden is offering assistance and expressed his “sadness by the loss of life and devastation caused by the earthquake in Morocco.”
