Board of Education in Alaska Bans Males From Participating in Female High School Sports

Recently Alaska’s state board of education voted to ban all males from performing in female high school sports. The legislations states that all athletes on girls’ high school teams must be born female.  The amendment “ensures fairness, safety, and equal opportunity for female students in high school athletics.”  All schools and districts that join the Alaska School Activities Association will be subject to the new regulation.
