On Tuesday, Rosemary Hills Elementary School sent a letter to parents of kindergarteners informing them of a mask mandate after several students tested positive for COVID-19 within a 10 day period. The school in Washington, D.C., wrote in the message to parents, “This letter is to inform you that 3 or more individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 in [redacted] class…” The principal of the school also stated that the masks will once again become optional in around 10 days. The students would also be provided with an at-home test kit, according to the letter. The school did not respond when requested to comment.
