The Texas Department of Safety has announced that two of three men who were photographed crossing the U.S. southern border with Mexico armed with rifles and body armor have been captured. “In a multi-agency effort, DPS Texas Rangers Special Operations Group, Texas Game Wardens, and U.S. Border Patrol apprehended two Mexican nationals with suspected ties to a transnational criminal organization.  The men were in possession of two rifles and armor-piercing ammo,” a spokesperson said.  K9 units with the Texas Game Warden also located additional rifles which had been ditched in a river. Drone images showed the men crossing the border on August 5 evading capture.  The two who were captured were making another crossing in the same area.  The third man is thought to have escaped back into Mexico.
