Comer Accuses DOJ Of Obstructing GOP Investigation Into Biden Family

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) says he thinks that the Department of Justice is seeking to interfere with the investigation of Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings and allegations that his father President Biden was involved.  The accusation stems from Damian Williams, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, requesting Judge Ronnie Abrams to set a date and a time for longtime Hunter Biden business partner Devon Archer to surrender and begin his one-year prison sentence just before Archer is set to testify before Comer’s committee. Comer said, “It’s odd that it was issued on a Saturday, and it’s odd that it’s right before he’s scheduled to come in to have an opportunity to speak in front of the House Oversight Committee.”  Comer believes the timing is meant to intimidate Archer, but through his lawyer, Archer said that he still planned to testify before the committee.
