North Korean leader Kim Jong Un hosted senior Russian and Chinese delegates in Pyongyang during the annual Armistice Parade which celebrated the 70-year truce with South Korea. During the parade, Kim displayed the Hwasong-17 and Hwasong-18 ICBM missiles which have more than enough range to reach the U.S.  Also the parade included thousands of soldiers, tanks and flights of newly developed surveillance and attack drones.  Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chinese ruling party official Li Hongzhong were introduced as honored guests as the crowd applauded.  The parade was a capstone to a week of meetings between Kim and Shoigu, who have been discussing expanding the countries’ “strategic and tactical collaboration and cooperation” in defense and security. Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a message thanking Kim for “firmly supporting” his war efforts in Ukraine, suggesting North Korea is supplying arms to Russia.
