CNN host Abby Phillip interviewed author Mike Rothschild about Sound of Freedom, the new anti-child sex trafficking movie.  Rothschild said the movie was created out of a “moral panic” and “QAnon concepts.”  ‘Sound of Freedom’ depicts the rescue operations of Tim Ballard, founder of Operation Underground Railroad (OUR), whose mission is to save children from human trafficking. Rothschild said the movie was marketed to “either specific QAnon believers or to people who believe all the same tenets as QAnon, but claim they don’t know what it is.”  He added that people who see the movie feel as if they are “helping [to] bring down these pedophile rings and save children,” and that feeling is “comforting” but “not true.”  To note, former CNN director John Griffin was charged with child sex crimes and sentenced to 19 years in prison.
