Disney has reportedly suffered revenue losses of nearly $900 million due to box office failures, according to an analysis by Valiant Renegade. Despite releasing several films, including entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Disney’s financial performance has been disappointing. The films that contributed to the reported crisis include Lightyear, Thor: Love and Thunder, Strange World, The Little Mermaid, and Elemental. The series of movies cost Disney $2.75 billion, but they only earned $1.86 billion, resulting in an $890 million shortfall. In addition, Disney’s decision to exclusively distribute content on Disney+ instead of licensing it to other streaming platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime has been seen as a missed revenue opportunity. Most of these projects have lost money due to the increase of leftist and woke propaganda in the films.
