A group of students at Marshal Simonds Middle School in Burlington, Massachusetts, organized a protest against the LGBTQ celebrations endorsed by their school. The school was decorated with Pride banners and rainbow colors by an LGBT student group. The middle schoolers tore down the Pride banners while chanting, “U.S.A. are my pronouns,” and wore red, white, and blue clothing instead of rainbow-colored attire. The principal of the school deemed the protest as “completely unacceptable.”
