U.S. Executives Reduce Woke Initiatives After Backlash From the Public

Executives at U.S. companies have cut their mentions of ESG (environmental, social, and governance) and DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) on earnings calls by 31% from last year. Financial research platform AlphaSense reported that this has been the largest drop year-over-year as woke talks have declined over the past five quarters.
