Trump to Appear in Miami Courtroom to Face Historic Federal Charges on Tuesday

Objectivity 4.8 | Credibility 4.8 | Relevance 4.9

On Tuesday at 3 p.m. former President Donald Trump and a personal aide, Walt Nauta – U.S. Navy petty officer who was assigned as Trump’s valet during his presidency – are set to appear in a Miami courtroom to face historic federal charges.  It is expected that the media and protesters will be swarming, both for and against Trump, just as they did in New York when he was indicted two months ago.  Trump has not pleaded guilty in that case and is expected to deny the current charges lodged against him.  Over the weekend at his rallies in Georgia and North Carolina, Trump denounced the most recent accusations as more proof that he is a target of political persecution and that the American justice system is “weaponized.”
