Minnesota will begin offering taxpayer money to illegal immigrants from families that earn less than $80,000 annually for university and college studies. “We want to make sure that when we’re expanding opportunities for everybody, we’re doing it for all Minnesotans, regardless of background, regardless of their documentation status,” Minnesota State Senator Omar Fateh (D) said. The grant would also be available for other Minnesota residents.
