The Covenant School has filed a court motion seeking to intervene in lawsuits demanding Audrey Hale’s manifesto. The Nashville Christian school is the site where Hale, trans-identified shooter, killed 3 children and 3 adults.  Two separate lawsuits from the National Police Association (NPA) and Tennessee Firearms Association (TFA) were filed seeking the release of the manifesto.  During the process of the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) accessing the possibility of making the manifesto public, the lawsuits have arisen.  The school believes the release of the writings could potentially threaten the security of its staff and students.  The motion states the requested records in the lawsuits may contain sensitive information belonging to the school and confidential data of students and employees of the school.
