Target continues to advertise LGBTQ merchandise for children and even newborns in its “Target’s Pride Collection,” and sells children’s books promoting radical gender ideology. In May of 2022, the American retail giant began selling items such as chest binders for girls and undergarments called “packing underwear” alongside a phallic apparatus worn to mimic the appearance of a human penis. Conservative Charlie Kirk tweeted about Target’s Pride Collection: “The @Target Collection even has books for kids! “The Hips on the Drag Queen Go Swish, Swish, Swish” Written by Lil Miss Hot Mess and available in hardcover, suggested for ages 4-8.” Target also proudly partnered with TomboyX last year to help lead “the movement in creating affirming, accessible and anti-racist spaces for LGBTQIA+ students.”
