The Department of Justice (DOJ) is investigating Hunter Biden for tax fraud, money laundering, and violation of lobbying laws.  Attorney General Merrick Garland maintains his stance that the DOJ’s investigation of Hunter has never been improperly politicized within the agency.  The case appears to be quietly stalled while prosecutor David Weiss has been weighing the evidence to determine if it is sufficient for Hunter to be indicted by the grand jury on four charges, reportedly three tax crimes and one gun crime.  Meanwhile, an IRS whistleblower came forth in April and alleged the improper politicization of a tax probe into Hunter Biden and that two Biden administration political appointees inside the DOJ are working to block the tax violation charges against Hunter.  The unidentified IRS official also accused Garland of misleading Congress about probe.  Garland denied the accusations and said, “I stand by my testimony.”
