Lu Jianwang, one of the men accused of running a secret Chinese police station in New York City, has reportedly been captured on video with two prominent New York Democrats, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and New York City Mayor Eric Adams. The video, taken at an event for the Fukien American Association, a cultural non-profit associated with the Chinese province of the same name, shows Lu standing next to Adams in March 2023. A spokesperson for Adams says he does not know Lu.  Senator Chuck Schumer spoke at the same event and has yet to comment.  The Daily Caller also claims that Lu met with Rep. Grace Meng (D-NY) in April 2022. Records show that Lu has contributed over $30,000 to New York elected officials since 2006, including Adams and New York Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul.
