Jack Teixeira, U.S. Air National Guard member who allegedly leaked classified military documents, was set to appear in a federal court in Boston on April 19, but the hearing has been delayed.  Teixeira’s lawyers said they need more time to prepare a response to the government’s request to detain Teixeira as the court proceeds.  The request for more time was granted by Magistrate Judge David Hennessy who is currently overseeing the case.  The legal team said the hearing should be pushed back two weeks, but a new hearing has not yet been scheduled.  No plea has been entered by Teixeira and no public comment has come forth from him or his legal team since he was taken into custody.
