Sales of Bud Light beer have come crashing down after parent company Anheuser-Busch partnered with transgender TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney in what Bud Light vice president of marketing Alissa Heinerscheid said was an attempt to replace the “out-of-touch” humor of the brand with “inclusivity.” The campaign has incited a revolt against the brand. At one bar in Boston, Bud Light sales were down 80%. According to Fox News, Country singer and bar owner John Rich completely pulled Bud Light from the bar after sales dropped to nearly zero. Jeff Fitter, owner of Case & Bucks, a restaurant and sports bar in Missouri said, “In Bud Light’s effort to be inclusive, they excluded almost everybody else, including their traditional audience.”
