A suspected leak of “Secret” and “Top Secret” Pentagon documents were widely shared on social media platforms, like Twitter  and Telegram, and seem to contain details about aid to Ukraine from the U.S. and NATO as well as war plans.  The Justice Department has launched an investigation of the documents that are dated from February 23 through March 1 which show maps and details about deliveries of weapons.  The documents appear to have been altered to show much lower numbers of Russian troop fatalities than U.S. officials have reported.  In particular, this alteration has led to speculation that Russia is responsible for the leak.  Ukraine claims the documents are fake and the leak is part of a Russian disinformation campaign.
