Louisville Metro Police Reports Multiple Casualties After Monday Morning Shooting in KY

The Louisville Metropolitan Police Department has reported five people dead and six injured after a shooting happened at a building that houses an Old National Bank location on Monday morning.  The Louisville police tweeted, “We are confirming reports of an active aggressor in the 300 block of East Main. Please stay out of the area. There are multiple casualties.”  A  public warning went out from Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg of an “active police situation downtown” and to “please avoid the area around Slugger Field until further notice.”  Further details are currently unavailable; this story is developing.
