U.S. Border Patrol agents are targeting stash houses operated by drug cartels as part of their efforts to combat the surge of illegal immigration and drug trafficking. Agents have raided 130 houses, leading to over 1,800 illegal migrant arrests in the El Paso region alone this fiscal year. The agency’s intelligence efforts are also focused on identifying and disrupting the cartels’ smuggling operations, including their use of human smugglers and drones. The Border Patrol is calling on local communities to report any suspicious activities that may be related to these illicit activities.
