As tensions mount over clashes between Israeli police and Muslim worshippers during Ramadan and rockets fired from Gaza into Israel as Passover begins, there is concern of a greater escalation. Seven rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel, but all exploded in the air without causing damage in an apparent protest of Israeli police removing Muslims attempting to stay overnight at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.   The Jerusalem Post reports that the Israeli air force struck targets in Gaza in retaliation. The Post also reports that early Thursday, more than 30 rockets were fired into Israel from Lebanon, with most of the rockets being shot down by Israel’s Iron Dome.  At least two Israeli’s were injured in the latest rocket barrage. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly convened a meeting with Israeli’s security cabinet to address the attacks.
