Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is getting push back from Democrat voters over Donald Trump’s indictment with scrutiny from both parties about the strength of his case and accusations that he is weaponizing the law for political purposes. Sammy Ravelo, Democrat voter and former police officer, said, “My whole thing is they found the worst prosecutor in America to prosecute Trump because Alvin Bragg would not prosecute a Black on Black crime or Latino-Latino crime… He’ll set those guys free. In the meantime, he goes after a former president.” According to the FOX BrainRoom, under Bragg’s watch last year, more than half of felony arrests were downgraded to misdemeanors, a 13% increase from the prior year.
