On CNN’s State of the Union Sunday, Trump lawyer Joe Tacopina told host Dana Bash that Trump will plead “not guilty” to charges from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office. Tacopina told Bash when asked if Trump would have a mugshot taken, “this is not not normal operating procedure. It’s all up in the air. All the Tuesday stuff is still very much up in the air other than the fact that we will very loudly and proudly say not guilty.” Trump plans to comment about the indictment on Tuesday night from his Mar-a-lago estate in Florida. Bragg’s office alleges that Trump falsified business records in regards to a payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels by then-lawyer Michael Cohen. Many agree Bragg’s indictment is a political persecution.
