A study revealed that 80 percent of jobs in the U.S. will be affected by artificial intelligence (AI) systems such as ChatGPT (generative pre-trained transformer) in coming years.  Researchers from OpenAI, creator of ChatGPT, and the University of Pennsylvania warn white collar jobs, such as mathematicians, accountants and writers, and occupations making $80K yearly are most at risk of the technology.  The study investigated whether AI could perform and complete tasks faster than humans.  ChatGPT, released in November, has the ability to perform professional human tasks, raising concerns that some human jobs will become obsolete across the world.
