Solar Flare Hits Earth

Objectivity 4.7 | Credibility 4.8 | Relevance 4.3

According to NASA an eruption on the Sun happened on March 12 ejecting solar material with debris toward Earth.  NASA reported that a coronal mass ejection, or CME, erupted from the opposite side of the Sun from Earth and is believed to have come from a former active region called AR3234.  Between February and early March, the active region was Earth-facing and released intense medium and large flares.
