In the first public response on Monday to former President Trump’s announcement of his own impending arrest to take place on Tuesday, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) spoke out that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is a “Soros-funded prosecutor.” DeSantis commented that he has only heard rumors and does not want to get involved in the case in “any way.” However, he said, “But I do know this: The Manhattan district attorney is a [George] Soros-funded prosecutor, and so he, like other Soros-funded prosecutors, they weaponize their office to impose a political agenda on society at the expense of the rule of law and public safety.â€
