In an interview with Fox Nation’s Piers Morgan, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) talked about how he would defeat President Joe Biden if he decides to run in 2024.  DeSantis touted his massive reelection victory in last year’s race for governor of Florida as the formula for succeeding nationally.  If he “were to run,” he said his main focus would be on Biden and his failures as a president, saying, “I think he’s failed the country. I think the country wants a change. I think they want a fresh start and a new direction, and so we’ll be very vocal about that.” When asked by Morgan if he could beat Biden, DeSantis said, “I think so.”  He reiterated that he has not made a final decision to run, but said to “stay tuned.”
