Israel has approved a measure which allows the sale of anti-drone jamming systems to Ukraine as Iran continues to provide Russia with advanced long-range armed drones. Israel had previously hesitated on such a move concerned with how Russia would react. But Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Foreign Minister Eli Cohe finally green-lit the move in February and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was informed of the decision during Cohen’s trip to Kyiv. However, a Ukrainian official shared that Ukraine is somewhat lukewarm towards the news and instead desires “a defensive system against ballistic missiles.”
