White House Considers Revival of Policy to Detain Immigrants at the Border

The Biden Administration is reviewing the possibility of taking former President Trump’s immigration policies back into action.  President Biden is revising a policy that would detain illegal aliens at the border while accordingly processing their immigration case, after severely criticizing Trump’s exact same measure.  This comes amid the approaching expiration of Title 42, an order born out of the COVID-19 pandemic which expelled immigrants at the U.S. border invoked by both the Biden and Trump administrations.  A U.S. official informed Reuters that, “It’s all on the table.”
