First Lady Jill Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken recognized International Women’s Day by honoring “11 extraordinary women from around the world who are working to build a brighter future for all,” except one of the “women” is a biological male. Argentinian Alba Rueda, a transgender woman, was given an award for working “to end violence and discrimination against the LGBTQ plus community in Argentina.” Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-AR) tweeted, “It’s International Women’s Day – a good time to remember that Democrats can’t even tell you what a woman is.” Dana Loesch, host of The Dana Show tweeted, “Nice of FLOTUS to encourage the diminishment of women on ‘international women’s day.’ Erasing women is abusive.”
