Fattah Hussein Kharousha, the gunman who is suspected of killing two brothers last month in Huwara, after which Israeli settlers there responded by burning cars and other property, was killed by an IDF raid in Jenin.  Kharousha was killed during a gun battle with an Israeli counter-terrorism squad; 5 other Palestinians were killed and two Israeli soldiers were lightly wounded. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the operation saying, “IDF soldiers, ISA agents and Israel National Counter-Terroriosm Unit officers have eliminated the abhorrent terrorist who murdered the two wonderful brothers, Hallel and Yigal Yaniv, in cold blood.” Netanyahu concluded, “As I have said repeatedly: whoever harms us will pay the price.”
