After reviewing the over 40,000 hours of footage, Carlson concluded that lawmakers and the media were “lying.” The first release of footage provides proof that Jacob Chansley, known as the “QAnon Shaman,” was escorted by Capitol police around the building without incident. The second batch dispels the Democrats’ narrative that J6 was a “deadly insurrection.” The third batch proves Ray Epps lied about being on the grounds when he claimed to be en route to his hotel. Carlson said, “This tape overturns the single most powerful and politically useful lie that Democrats told us about January 6th.”
