Regent University Holds Open Week Of Prayer

Objectivity 4.8 | Credibility 4.8 | Relevance 4.8

Revival has continued to spread across college campuses in the U.S. in the wake of the Asbury Revival.  Dr. Jeff Gossman, Regent University’s Director of Campus Ministries, visited Asbury when the revival was just getting underway. Upon his return from Asbury he shared, “This generation has suffered so much loss due to the pandemic. This current outpouring is like their coming-of-age party, where Jesus says to them, ‘I see you.'”  Students at Regent began having unplanned gatherings over the past weeks which were marked by “humble worship, teaching of scripture, prayer, repentance, and spiritual renewal.” Now Regent has decided to hold an open chapel this week to seek the Lord.  The chapel is on Regent campus and will be open to the public.
