Kari Lake Appeals to AZ Supreme Court in Election Case

Objectivity 4.8| Credibility 4.8 | Relevance 4.9

On Wednesday Kari Lake, former Republican Arizona gubernatorial candidate, took her election integrity lawsuit to the Arizona Supreme Court.  Lake’s appeal to the state’s Supreme Court comes after her case was rejected by both the superior and appellate courts over lack of evidence.  “Public trust in elections is at an all-time low,” say Lake’s lawyers, and the decisions handed down from the lower courts “only serve to further erode that trust.”  Her case is based on alleged malfunctions with Maricopa County’s tabulator machines and failures in chain of custody procedures discovered by whistleblowers.
