A new development has emerged in the trial of an Arizona rancher, George Alan Kelly, who is facing charges of second-degree murder and aggravated assault.  Illegal immigrant Gabriel Cuen-Buitimea had trespassed onto the rancher’s property in late January and was found dead from a gun shot wound.  According to the Los Angeles Times, an anonymous witness testified in court on Friday that he and Cuen-Buitimea, a Mexican national, illegally entered the U.S. after paying smugglers to infiltrate the border.  Kelly’s lawyer claimed that he only fired “warning shots” after seeing a group of armed, camouflaged men who allegedly threatened him with their rifles.
