Aftershocks Continue In Southern Turkey

A 5.6 magnitude earthquake shook southern Turkey on Monday causing another death, almost 70 more injuries and over two dozen buildings to collapse.  On February 6, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake caused over 48,000 fatalities and damaged or collapsed an estimated 173,000 buildings.  Since then there have been almost 10,000 aftershocks in the already devastated region. The latest aftershock occurred near the town of Yesilyurt in Malatya province.
