Videos on social media claim that protests in Iran are ongoing and that the latest demonstrations are in the southeast city of Zahedan.  In one video,  protestors can be heard chanting, “We swear on our comrades’ blood to stand strong until the end.”  The protests began last September after the death of Mahsa Amini following her arrest for allegedly not following the country’s hijab policy which requires women to entirely cover their hair and bodies.  Another video allegedly shows police arresting and beating a man for trying to enter a mosque which had been surrounded by police. NetBlocks internet monitor said that internet service in Zahedan had been disrupted, possibly by the government.
