Project Veritas’ James O’Keefe Ousted by Board

Objectivity 3.8 | Credibility 4.8 | Relevance 4.6

James O’Keefe, CEO of Project Veritas, said in an online speech that he has been stripped of all decision-making for the organization which he founded 13 years ago.  Project Veritas, a right-leaning news organization, is known for its hidden camera sting exposés that have brought embarrassment to news outlets, corporations, and Democratic politicians.  His remarks come after the board placed him on leave amid complaints about mistreatment of his staff and alleged “financial malfeasance.”  In the video O’Keefe said, “So currently, I have no job at Project Veritas.  I have no position here based upon what the board has done. So I’m announcing to you all that today on President’s Day, I’m packing up my personal belongings.”
