A crash on Tuesday that resulted in a hazardous materials spill led to part of a major highway in Arizona closing down.  The incident involved a “truck tractor pulling a box trailer” carrying liquid nitric acid that overturned on Interstate 10 between two exits in the city of Tucson.  Video footage of the crash showed orange fumes billowing from the truck trailer.  An order was issued for people within one mile of the scene to evacuate and shelter in place due to the chemical causing irritation of the skin and eyes.
