Solar Flare Causes Radio Wave Disruption in South America

A major solar flare erupted from the sun on Saturday.  The wave created a temporary radio blackout over South America, according to the U.S. Space Weather Prediction Center.  “More flares are expected from this region as it moves across the sun creating occasional degradation of high frequency…” the Center said.
