Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy claims that Ukraine has intercepted details of an alleged Russian plan to collapse the democratic government of Moldova and create a puppet state. The revelation comes a week after Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov claimed that Moldovan President Maia Sandu was seeking to bring Moldova into NATO and merge the country with Romania. Moldova’s Intelligence and Security Service confirmed that they had received intelligence from Ukraine and had identified “subversive activities, aimed to undermine the Republic of Moldova, destabilize and violate public order.â€
