Cruz and Manchin Join Forces To Stop Biden Admin Ban On Gas Stoves

Objectivity 4.8 | Credibility 4.8 | Relevance 4.6

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) have proposed a bi-partisan bill to block the Biden Administration from placing a ban on gas stoves. Manchin, Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee Chairman, wrote, “The federal government has no business telling American families how to cook their dinner.”  Cruz said, “Make no mistake, radical environmentalists want to stop Americans from using natural gas.” The bill, called “Gas Stove Protection and Freedom Act,” would block the Biden administration from implementing policy on existing or new gas stoves that would ban their use or “would otherwise substantially increase the average price of gas stoves in the United States.”
