The FBI has notified former Vice President Mike Pence of an upcoming search of classified documents at his residence. Last month Pence’s lawyers reached out to federal authorities to return classified documents recently found stored at his home in Indiana. His legal team claim the documents were “inadvertently packed up and transported and Mr. Pence was unaware of their existence.†In the midst of President Joe Biden’s classified documents scandal, federal agencies have increased scrutiny of government officials’ handling of classified documents.
