AOC Accuses House of “Racist Targeting” for Ousting Fellow Democrat Ilhan Omar

After GOP members of the House voted to remove Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) for her antisemitism, colleague Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) (D-NY) deemed the House’s actions as “racist targeting.”  Ihan Omar has been implicated in several controversies for her persistent support of the Palestinian government and disrespectful comparisons of America to the Taliban.  Yet AOC said, “I think this was about revenge. This was about petty politics.”
