Iran Blames Israel For Drone Strike

Objectivity 4.8 | Credibility 4.8 | Relevance 4.8

The Iranian government has filed a letter with the United Nations officially placing blame on Israel for the drone strike last weekend which damaged a military factory in the city of Isfahan. The letter states, “Early investigations suggest that the Israeli regime was responsible for this attempted act of aggression.”  The letter also states that Iran “reserves its legitimate and inherent right” to retaliate.  The Iranian news has described the attack as carried out by “quadcopters (drones) equipped with bomblets.”  Quadcopters typically operate from short range via remote control. Iran said that it shot down 2 of the 3 drones used in the attack. Israel has not responded to the accusation.
